About Us

Namo has derivatives in the Sanskrit word for home, reverence and adoration, and that encapsulates everything we are about. With a passionate and focused approach, we aim to pour a love for the work we do, into creating the home you always imagined.

We are based in Bedminster and take on projects across the Bristol area. From small carpentry tasks, to larger scale building projects, and everything inbetween, we always come with the same level of care, energy, and professionalism.

Our owner and founder, Harris, estblished Namo in 2025 after almost a decade of experience in the building and carpentry industry. Following a few misguided years gaining a law degree in Nottingham, Harris decided to follow his passion and pursue carpentry - he was far better placed doing a practical job where he could be outside, working in the elements!

Following his carpentry qualifications, Harris gained experience working with two widely known and highly regarded building & carpentry firms in Wimbledon and Bristol. This involved working on a range of projects in varying sizes - typically full scale end to end building projects, eco focused new build homes, kitchen extensions, loft conversions, and all the carpentry tasks that come alongside them.

In 2025, he felt a desire to take the next step and set up his own company. Having always taken great joy in establishing strong and lasting client relationships, he felt like it was time to take it to the next level and establish some of his own.

On a personal note, Harris lives in Bedminster with his wife, restoring their Victorian terrace home to its former glory. This project has provided further fuel to the flame of an already well established interest and passion in restoration work, which he continues to expand his knowledge and experience of, with every new obstacle.
